On Dec.9, the Tokyo Art Foundation (TAF) held
a Christmas charity dinner show at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo.
All proceeds from the event will be
donated to the Lesotho-based charity Sentebale, which promotes efforts to
eradicate AIDS.This time, TAF featured a concert and pro wrestling with dinner. TAF Chairman Dr. Haruhisa Handa said to the 520 guests, “Christmas, a concert, pro wrestling and dinner; I’ve never seen such a combination...”
During the concert, Dr.Handa sang 14 songs, mainly Christmas songs, including three of his original songs.
While singing Jingle Bells, he changed the lyrics to insert the names of shrines ending with the word “Jingu”, such as Ise Jingu, Atsuta Jingu and Meiji Jingu.
