Joe Lynn Turner joined Deep Purple in 1989. One of the members at that time, Ritchie Blackmore, had been a guitarist best known for his riff in "Smoke on the Water." He performed with Turner in Rainbow prior to 1989.
Turner sang four Deep Purple Songs, including "Smoke on the Water." He revealed his love of junmai ginjyo high-end sake, after Dr.Handa told the crowd how much he loves Japan.
