The concert was the second one following a free concert where Onuki and Longmuir performed.
This time, Gore was invited to the concert for the first time.
He has a career of being given many prestigious awards both before and since joining Opera Australia. as a principal artist in 2008. The awards includes the Dame Joan Sutherland Scholarship in 2012 from the Australian Opera Awards Committee, and the Opera Awards in 2010 from Music & Opera Singers Trust.
